Nominations called for Ontario Professional Engineers awards

Toronto, ON February 27, 2003 The Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) are seeking nominations of outstanding professional engineers for the Ontario Professional Engineers Awards, which are sponsored annually by PEO and OSPE.

The Ontario Professional Engineers Awards recognize exceptional professional engineers for their achievements. Nominees who excel in engineering are eligible for engineering medals, while those who have made significant contributions to the community can be nominated for citizenship medals.

Medals are awarded for Engineering Excellence, Research and Development, Management, and Entrepreneurship. In addition, there is a Young Engineer Award.

The awards will be presented at a gala presentation on November 14, 2003. Nominations are due by March 31. For more information, visit the award website at www.peo.on.ca.
