Genomics research gets new $100M fund


Toronto, ON – A new $100-million fund in genomic research has been launched by the Ontario government. Called the Global Leadership Round in Genomics and Life Sciences, the program is intended to support globally significant, collaborative research projects that are headquartered in Ontario.

Focused on genomics and gene-related research, the new fund focus on human disease, but will also support innovation in agriculture, environmental protection and clean technologies.
