New distributor for Honeywell’s research chemicals in Canada

Seelze, Germany – Honeywell has named Canadian Life Science as distributor for its analytical chemistry portfolio in Canada. The portfolio includes the Burdick & Jackson brand, as well as the Fluka, Hydranal and Chromasolv brands, which Honeywell acquired from Sigma-Aldrich in 2015.

Headquartered in Peterborough, Canadian Life Science has been a distributor of LC and GC columns, sample handling, sample preparation, dissolution, solvents and accessories since 1997.

“We are pleased with Canadian Life Science’s decision to represent Honeywell in Canada and look forward to growing our partnership,” said Boris Eterovic, director of sales for the Americas for Honeywell’s research chemicals portfolio. “Canadian Life Science is well known for quality service and support to laboratory instrument users. Their expertise will assist us in extending our solvents to existing customers and will provide us with access to new opportunities within the Canadian market.”

“We are excited to become a distribution partner for a recognized leader like Honeywell,” said Kick van Lunenburg, Canadian Life Science’s president. “Their extended portfolio of research chemical products is well positioned for the analytical market serving the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food & beverage, toxicology and environmental laboratory market segments, as well as the inorganic chemistry market segment.”
