Mettler Toledo and Labtronics connect on LIMS integration

Columbus, OH July 22, 2003 Mettler Toledo has announced a new partnership with Labtronics to provide users of the LabX system with a new LabX-to-LIMS integration solution. Using LimsLink, the company says its customers can now configure a secure, fileless interface between their LabX application and their LIMS.

First introduced in 1995, LimsLink automates worklist creation, collects data from laboratory instrument data systems such as LabX, reformats that data and reports it to any LIMS or database application. The companies say the interfacing software includes all of the components required to meet regulatory compliance requirements while efficiently managing data flow between laboratory instruments and LIMS.

LabX PC titration software includes full FDA 21CFR part 11 support. LabX is a scaleable client/server network solution providing tools for titrator control and sample data analysis. Mettler Toledo says it will soon provide full support for the company’s balances and other instruments. The software is designed to allow the analyst to control all of their titrators over a network, manage methods with the efficient method editor, manage sample data, and control user privileges.
