Toronto, ON – The Ontario Brain Institute has announced a new round of funding from its entrepreneurs program, which offers up to 10 early stage entrepreneurs the opportunity to build a start-up company and develop a technology applicable to brain disorders or brain health.

The program offers $50,000 in funding over one year, mentorship from experts in the field and training to develop business skills.

To date, the organization says its entrepreneurs programs have resulted in 40 prototypes built, 26 patents and disclosures and over $5 million in follow-on funding.
