Canadian scientist wins award for excellence in science

Ottawa, ON May 20, 2003 The Canadian Institutes of Health Research says that one of its distinguished investigators, Dr Janet Rossant, from Toronto’s Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute, has been awarded the 2004 Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) Excellence in Science Award, which recognizes outstanding achievements by women in biological science.
