Advanced registration opens for Pittcon 2009

The 60th Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemsitry and Applied Spectroscopy (Pittcon 2009), which takes place in Chicago from March 8-13, has opened conferee advanced registration. Conferees registering before February 9 will save 50% on the registration fee and more than 30% on short course fees.

“Pittcon 2009 provides a valuable opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and see what’s new in the world of laboratory science,” says Ed Ladner, president of Pittcon 2009.

A total of 31 new course titles have been added to this year’s roster. In addition, Pittcon has announced the third year of co-programming with the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry (ACS-DAC) with 12 sessions.

This year is a milestone not only for Pittcon as it celebrates 60 years of showcasing scientific innovations, but also for the ACS-DAC as it celebrates its 25-year anniversary. The ACS program at Pittcon 2009 will focus on that theme.
