Pittcon 2010 opens in Orlando


Orlando, FL – The Pittcon 2010 Exposition takes place this week from Monday through Thursday at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The show will include around 950 exhibitors as that provide products for laboratory science and offer services laboratories in the industrial, academic, and government sectors. It highlights the latest analytical and spectroscopic technologies and innovations for areas including, but not limited to bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical science and drug discovery, nanotechnology, environmental analysis, forensics, food analysis, and homeland security.

It is a very international show, with around 20% of the exhibiting companies headquartered in countries including Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The 495,579 sq ft exposition floor includes 1,991 booths, 37 seminar rooms, mixers, and four specialized areas, including New Exhibitor, Life Sciences, Laboratory Informatics, and the Green Corner.
