Lab automation show targets emerging companies with innovation program

Chicago, IL – The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) is inviting emerging companies from around the world to submit applications for its Innovation AveNEW program at SLAS2012, the organization’s annual conference and exhibition. The event is being held February 4-8, 2012, in San Diego, CA.

The program allows a limited number of companies to showcase their products and/or service concepts in a specially designated area on the show’s exhibit floor. Past participants of this program came from around the world, including Korea, Italy, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany and Switzerland.

Candidate companies must align in some way with the laboratory science and technology field, offer their products and/or service concepts for sale or distribution during 2012, and while not required, an established relationship with a university, bioscience incubator or research institution is preferred. Applications must be submitted by October 25, 2011.

The selected companies will receive benefits at no cost, including kiosk exhibit space on the floor of the SLAS2012 Exhibition Hall, travel and four nights accommodation for one individual, and the opportunity to participate in the Late Night with LRIG: Rapid-Fire Innovation session.
