Forty conferee networking sessions scheduled for Pittcon 2012

Pittsburgh, PA – Topics for the 40 scheduled conferee networking sessions at the upcoming Pittcon 2012 have been announced. The sessions are a networking opportunity for registered conferees to meet in a semi-formal gathering to mutually discuss pre-identified topics of common interest.

Pittcon 2012 will be held from March 11 to 15, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, and the networking sessions will run from Sunday March 11 to Wednesday, March 14. Session topics vary and include methodologies such as computer modeling and simulation; data analysis and manipulation; education; liquid chromatography; sampling and sample preparation; and sensors. Popular analytical topics and current event issues include sessions such as Non Invasive Biomedical Analysis – The Fast, the Furious, and the Brave – Innovative Analytical Instrumentation for Breath Gas Testing; New Applications for SERS; Regulation of Transportation Fuel; and Which Has the Highest Priority – LIMS or ELN?

“These [sessions] are much more than just great opportunities to learn new perspectives and methods,” says Greg Meisner, Conferee Networking Chairman. “Participation leads to meeting and forming valuable connections with colleagues from many different disciplines and countries.”

The networking sessions are open to registered conferees at no extra charge, and no registration is required for participating in the sessions. However, seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. More details are available at http://www.pittcon.org.
