Clean tech projects get $82M in funding


Ottawa, ON – Natural Resources Canada’s ecoENERGY Innovation Initiative (ecoEII) is providing $82 million in support for 55 projects across Canada in the area of clean technologies. Of these, 15 will be pre-commercialization demonstration projects to test the feasibility of various technologies, and 40 will be research and development projects to address knowledge gaps and bring technologies from the conceptual stage to the ready-to-be-tested stage of development. 

A list of all the projects is attached with this article, with details including project title, lead proponent, location, funding amount, and project description. All funding is provided until March 31, 2016, the project end date.
