Versatile dry bath suited to general molecular biology

Compact, versatile and inexpensive chilling/heating dry bath offers sample temperature control to 0.1°C from -10.0°C TO 110.0°C. The new EchoTherm Model IC50, Peltier driven, dry bath is supplied with a temperature probe to insert directly into the sample or into the sample block.

The probe senses the sample temperature or sample block temperature directly and sends that information to the unit to drive and control the temperature exactly where set. There also is a sensor in the heater plate for allowing the user to set the plate temperature and use the probe to monitor the sample temperature.

The unit can freeze, chill or heat samples in assay plates, centrifuge tubes of all sizes, vials, test tubes, and most any other sample container. It is particularly well suited to the molecular biology lab for doing hybridizations, sample prep for PCR, ligations, enzyme reactions and deactivations and much more. Torrey Pines Scientific, Inc.
