Polypropylene braided PTFE hose resists attack

PTFE Polypropylene Braided Hose assemblies are designed to handle applications where corrosive chemicals attack stainless steel. In addition, the hose assemblies are 20 percent lighter than traditional stainless steel braided hoses and are much more flexible, making it easier to route through tight spaces. Since polypropylene braid is a plastic, rather than a metal, the burn risk for operators working around this product is much lower and the hose will not conduct electricity. Polypropylene braid is supplied in a light blue braid and is available in convoluted assemblies in either natural or static-dissipative tubes. Sizes range from ¼ inch up to 4 inch O.D. and hoses operate in temperatures up to 100°C.
