Warming plate protects cell viability on benchtop

Maintaining viability often requires repeatedly moving cell samples in and out of a CO2 incubator. This disrupts the chamber’s environment and puts stress on all cells contained within. The Scienceware Culturetemp Warming Plate from Bel-Art Products keeps samples at the optimal temperature for trypsinizing cells during cell passage—37°C. This reduces the time needed for enzymes, like trypsin, to work. The unit’s small footprint makes it suitable for use in a cell culture hood or on the benchtop, and its 17.8 cm by 20.3 cm warming surface fits all current sizes of tissue culture vessels.  Bel-Art Products Inc.
