An electrophoresis system for nucleic acid separation, the new myGel Mini, includes a small power supply that securely connects to a gel running tank without the need for electrical wires, and the complete, connected system takes up very little space on the laboratory bench. The power supply has adjustable voltage settings, 35, 50 or 100 volts DC, and also includes a digital timer that can shut off the voltage at the end of a timed separation. Gel casting sets are included with the system, allowing quick casting of 5 x 6 cm or 10.5 x 6 cm agarose gels. Benchmark Scientific, Accuris Instruments division
