Instrument collects full wavelength spectrum in a split second

Combined spectrophotometer – fluorometer allows the user to collect a full wavelength spectrum (absorbance, percent transmittance, or intensity) in less than one second. Once the peak wavelength is determined, the user can easily determine the concentration of a solution or monitor rates of reaction. Uses include measurement of absorbance, percent transmittance, emissions spectra, or fluorescence; conducting Beer’s law investigations and kinetic studies of absorbance vs time; performing equilibrium studies of absorbance vs time or absorbance vs concentration and colorimetric or fluorescent bioassays; and measuring emissions of gas discharge tubes, flame tests, or other light sources; and more. Optical range is 380 to 950 nm (VIS-NIR) and optical resolution is 2.5 nm.
