Programmable hot plate has milled-flat top

Programmable digital hot plate comes with a milled-flat cast aluminum top and is suitable for use in precisely heating solids like silicon wafers, electronic chips, displays, adhesives and for doing photo-resists. Programming is available through the front panel membrane switch and full-functioned custom liquid crystal display. The unit can store 10 programs in memory of as many as 10 steps each where each step is a temperature, temperature ramp rate if wanted, and time. Each program can be made to repeat itself automatically from 1 to 98 times or infinitely. The plate surface can be evenly heated from ambient to 400°C in less than 10 minutes. Plate surface temperature is controlled directly using the PID control loop to 1°C of the target.
