PTFE membranes resist chemicals and closure under pressure

Standard and custom die-cut microporous PTFE membranes require no lamination for support and are suitable for filtering liquids and gasses in a variety of laboratory applications. They feature tensile strength up to 20N/mm2, are USP23 approved, non-cytotoxic, and can be sterilized by steam and EtO. Primarily suited for filtering aggressive organic solvents, concentrated acids, alkalis, and cryogenic fluids, the robust membranes incorporate a three-dimensional pore structure that resists closure under pressure. Available with pore sizes from 0.5 to 50µm, the membranes can be supplied in thicknesses from 50 to 3,000µm and widths up to 330mm with optional polypropylene laminate backing.
