VME bus provides long-term availability

Having a flexible and adaptable infrastructure that provides user defined I/O can be useful. The new V120 VME PCI Express Crate Controller from Highland Technology is a bus master crate controller, is usable as a crate slot 0 arbiter or as a secondary controller, has no jumpers and no setup is needed for basic I/O. Designed for long-term availability, it provides 8,184 remapping registers, each controlling a 16 kB PC-to-VME remapping page with flexible timing and endian controls. Immediate access to the A16, A24 and partial A32 VME address spaces are provided, and DMA and VME64 support are optional. Highland Technology Inc.
