PCR instruments now have touch screens

Thermal cycler and real-time PCR detection systems now have colour touch screens, allowing users to edit, run, and save protocols. Users can view qPCR amplification traces in real time without an attached computer. The thermal cycler is suitable for large high-throughput labs, core facilities, and GLP labs that value fast turnaround time, flexibility, and adjustable throughput. The PCR systems offer high performance, ease of use, and high throughput. Data analysis software helps researchers who would like to improve the accuracy of their real-time PCR experiments by following Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments (MIQE) guidelines.
