Label endures cryogenic processes, exposure to harsh chemicals

A label for plastic and glass labware is made to withstand extreme conditions in the laboratory environment. Suitable for flexographic imaging, thermal-transfer imaging and automatic application, the label is compatible with all of the manufacturer’s label applicators. Enduring temperatures as low as -196°C, the label is suitable for liquid nitrogen immersion and is resistant to chemicals including xylene, isopropanol, DMSO and hydrochloric acid. With a special adhesive formulation, the label is designed to adhere to plastic and glass, including frosted surfaces, when exposed long term to liquid nitrogen during cryogenic processes. It can even be applied to frosted surfaces as cold as -20°C.
