Durable differential pressure transmitters are smaller, lighter

New OEM differential pressure transmitters are smaller, lighter and cost less than the company’s existing differential pressure (DP) transmitter products, and offer many of the same features.

The new transmitters are available in both piston sensor and diaphragm sensor models, and are durable, weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use. Designed to provide years of reliable performance even in harsh applications, the transmitters have pressure bodies machined from solid blocks of aluminum which are anodized and able to withstand high-line pressures – with working pressures up to 3000 psi. IP65 electronic enclosures are used to protect the internal wiring.

Differential pressure transmitters monitor the condition of liquid or gas filters, and can help to ensure filters are serviced at the optimal time. When mated to an orifice plate or venturi, the transmitters measure flow without the need for large, costly in-line flow meters. The transmitter transforms the pressure difference into a voltage (0-5 V, 3 or 4 wire) or current (4-20mA, 2 wire loop-powered) based on the customer’s selected configuration. Orange Research
