New global forage calibrations are available for the manufacturer’s DA 7200 NIR analysis system. Calibrations encompass fresh and dried forages that provide a complete nutritional profile of forage quality parameters. With an analysis time of only 6 seconds, the instrument and the new calibrations offer many benefits for forage analysis. Also, the system can analyze forage samples as they are – no grinding required. The calibrations include fresh and dried/ground samples and accurately predict samples in both states. The calibrations are based on several thousand forage samples from around the world.
