Pittcon 2015 announces conferee topics

Pittsburgh, PAPittcon’s organizing committee has unveiled the topics for conferee networking sessions during Pittcon 2015, which will be in New Orleans from March 8-12, 2015.

These sessions provide an informal venue for open discussion about topics of mutual interest or to solve problems specific to certain instrumentation or procedures by small group of participants.

This year, there will be 35 facilitated sessions covering topics in nanotechnology, pharmaceutical science, education, specialty analysis, method development, environmental science, laboratory information/data analysis, chemical industry and more. They begin on Sunday and run through Wednesday afternoon and are open to all registered conferees at no extra cost.

“Participating in conferee networking sessions can add much value to one’s Pittcon experience—time well spent,” says Helen Boylan, conferee networking chairman. “These diverse sessions are not only extremely informative, but also provide a unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from around the world.”

A sample of some topics includes:

  • Advances in Thermal Analysis Techniques and Methodology
  • Non-Invasive Biomedical Analysis – Effects of Environmental VOCs
  • Analysis of Excipients in Bioformulations
