Labs in Manitoba get $4.2M modernization program

Winnipeg, MB – The Manitoba government says it is providing $4.5 million to modernize university laboratories. The funding will be used to modernize labs and upgrade equipment at Brandon University, the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba.

“Our government recognizes the need for students and professors to have laboratory space, research tools and equipment that will ensure students are prepared for further studies or the workforce when they graduate,” said Diane McGifford, advanced education and literacy minister, in making the announcement.
